Week #8 A Story In Six Words

This family happens to be selling baby shoes that they had bought a month ago for a child that they were supposed to be adopting. They are tiny shoes with pink and white on them and they were super cute. The soon to be mother of this child she was going to adopt was out shopping one day and saw these shoes and thought they would be perfect for her child she was adopting but something happened along the way. She was not able to adopt her anymore for some odd reason and the "mother" was super upset and wasn't going to keep the shoes so she had to sell them.

Week #7 Living In The Past

I would like to go back and live in the past when they didn't have cell phones, electronics or cars. I would want to know what it would be like to live on a farm where kids worked in the fields and in the barns with the animals all the time instead of being on their phones or computers worried about social media. I would want to see how people managed time back then because today people drive cars and get everywhere in a quick amount of time. So was time managed better then? Did people not hurry to get places very much?

Week #6 Tale As Old As Time

In the movie Monsters Inc. if the story was told from Randall's point of view then the movie wouldn't be as fun as we see it now. In my opinion the movie would end up being a scary movie because that all Randall focuses on is scaring little children. He thinks its such an awful thing that Mike and Sully have this little girl named Boo because humans aren't allowed to touch them or they have to shave their hair and shower. Randall sneaks around and disappears all the time so that’s why I believe that if it were to be in Randall’s point of view it would be a scary movie.

Week #5 Back To The Future

In the future I see that we will have more flying cars and will be legal. When i was in Osh Kosh Wisconsin one summer with my family we were watching an air show one night and they had this car that turns into an airplane. They told everyone that it was legal to drive on the road and you could also fly it. It was a bit small on the inside and wasn’t very roomy. When you were to drive it on the road the wings folded in so it was as small as a car and was also able to fit in parking spaces.

Week #4 Time Goes By So Slowly

The lack of time in my opinion would change life totally. Time revolves around everybody's lives in everything that they do. When you go to school you have to be there by eight o’clock and if there wasn’t a time then how would people know when to get to school? Would they have to be there when the sun rises and are able to leave when the sun sets? That in my opinion would be a long school day. What about the homework that we do? We wouldn’t have hours to our class days so how would we know when our homework would have to be done?

Week #3 Ask The Expert

Yes, I am the expert on cattle. Ask me anything from showing to caring for cattle and I will have an answer for you. "How many stomachs does a cow have?" Cattle have four stomachs the Rumen, Reticulum, Omasum and Abomasum. This would be the reason why cattle have "cud" because they have to regurgitate their food after going through every stomach. Next question... "How many calves do cattle have at one time?" They are able to have twins but sometimes they don’t survive. They are healthier having a single calf. Last question... "What is a good way to show cattle?" Well you enter the arena and set your heifer up. You keep their head high, front two hooves parallel and the back left leg slightly in front of the right. Then you have to do something called loining. It’s when you take the hook of your show stick and lightly scratch the top middle of their back. That makes them arch their back down so it’s flat.

Week #2 Science Experiment... Gone Wrong?

I have this science experiment with everyone and everything on planet Earth. You wouldn’t believe how humans act, how crazy they are or even the crazy things they do. When it comes to sports they have so many rules. For example they play this sport called volleyball and they have to simply hit a ball over the net and not let it drop. There are so many rules to it though like you can’t catch the ball and you can’t lift the ball. Just think that they play this to compete with other high schools, colleges, etc for fun. Why would you do that for fun?

Week 1: "How's School"

Coming into this school year I knew it was going to be a busy year. I was going to have a full day of classes with no study hall or p.e. There were several classes that I wanted to take instead of having to take. My most challenging class this year would have to be pre calculus. Math has never been my best subject and it's tougher this year because we have a new teacher and I haven't learned her teachings style yet. My favorite subjects this year are Human Development and Anatomy.
